FAMILY FRIENDLY DINING SPOTS ON HILTON ISLAND 

Topping this list is the neighboring duo, Skull Creek Boatside and Skull Creek Dockside. The central outdoor area that connects the two restaurants is a haven for kids of all ages. The area features a playground with a large wooden boat, foosball tables, air hockey, picnic tables, a firepit and more. If you sit on the deck of Dockside you actually have a full view of the play area.

Every Thursday is Family Night at Main Street Island Pub on the north end of Hilton Head... and KIDS EAT FREE! One kids meal per full priced adult meal. They also have some great app and drink prices during their weekday happy (and happiest) hours.

Family friendly spot in Shelter Cove with a kid's room called the 'Lil Dawg House complete with chalk board wall, bubbles and an interactive gaming floor. Meals on the kids menu include the usual items and include a side, a beverage and even a scoop of ice cream for only $5.

Fishcamp on Broad Creek offers seasonal live music, oyster roasts and other family-friendly games and entertainment. Their kids menu has items ranging from basic buttered pasta and pasta marinara to petite filet and crab legs. 

Kids stay happy at Salty Dog Cafe with entertainment and kids activities like tie dye shirt making, face painting, magicians, visits and photos with Jake the Salty Dog, and more. In addition to the Little Treasure Hunters kids menu, the dock area also houses Jake's Salty Dog Pizza and Salty Dog Ice Cream. 

Fish Coastal teaches kids to keep Hilton Head beaches clean and rewards them for helping. KIDS EAT FREE when they bring back a sand bucket with trash from the beach. And Monday through Friday, the adults can enjoy 4-6pm happy hour specials like $4 wine, .50 peel and eat shrimp and $1.25 oysters. Live music also keeps things fun for the whole family every day!

The whole family will enjoy an onsite playground, a large saltwater fish tank, live music, crab races during the summer, and a perfect view of breathtaking Lowcountry sunsets. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating on our expansive deck and is pet friendly. Hotdogs, burgers, mac n cheese and pizza are some of the items on their kids menu.

Street looks like a typical tavern at first glance. BUt they are family owned and have won many "best of" food awards. Every Saturday is "pay what they weigh" for littles ordering kids meals, while adults can also partake in prime rib night. Save room for dessert and order some fried Twinkies after dinner!

Conveniently located in the same building as The Art Cafe, parents are welcome to dine at Rockfish while the kids have paint night upstairs.
