With miles of beach, Hilton Head has no shortage of places for kids to play outside. But if you're looking for places for kids to unwind other than right on the shore, here are seven great places for them to expel some energy outdoors.

Named in tribute to the legendary Gregg Russell, who has delighted audiences with his musical performances under Harbour Town's famed Liberty Oak for 40 years, this nature-inspired playground features an incredible tree house embracing a great Live oak and numerous play centers for hours of fun.
The playground is adjacent to Harbour Town's main parking lot and wonderful collection of shops and restaurants, so you can easily grab a bite to eat or relax in a rocking chair with an ice cream cone afterward.
CHAPLIN COMMUNITY PARK
Chaplin Community Park is located off of William Hilton Parkway between Burkes Beach Road and Singleton Beach Road. The park offers outdoor basketball courts, multipurpose fields, a playground, picnic pavilions, trails, a dog park and beach access.

HILTON HEAD

HARBOURFEST WITH SHANNON TANNER
HarbourFest is an all summer long celebration that takes over Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina with fireworks, spinning hats, carnival games, face painting, music and more with the very popular entertainment of Shannon Tanner and Cappy the Clown. The festival kicks off on June 16, 2021 and spans the whole summer through Labor Day.

SPORTS ARENA
Bristol Sports Arena is located off of Arrow Road on Helmsway Way. The arena offers a skate park, hockey rink and restrooms.
SHELTER COVE PARK
Shelter Cove Community Park offers residents and visitors a lively roster of year-round festivals and events as well as a playground full of fun features, peaceful picnic spots, a performance pavilion, benches and tables, walking paths and breathtaking water views. A unique water fountain designed just for the Shelter Cove Community Park is the focal point at the entrance, located near the intersection of Shelter Cove Lane and Towne Centre Drive. Bike corrals are featured to allow the many bicyclists easy access to this new amenity to the Shelter Cove area.
