Hilton Head WingFest returns this spring for its 29th year, bringing restaurants, live music, and thousands of chicken wings to Lowcountry Celebration Park.
The annual event is one of Hilton Head Island’s most popular food festivals and helps support the Island Recreation Association’s Children’s Scholarship Fund.

Admission is $10 for adults, and children under 11 are free. Food, drinks, and activities are sold separately. The event is cashless, with credit cards and digital payments accepted inside the festival.
Wings, Restaurants, and Competitions
WingFest features 20–25 local restaurants serving their best wing recipes, with more than 8,000 pounds of chicken wings prepared throughout the day.
Guests purchase wing punch cards at the event and sample wings from participating vendors while voting for their favorites.
Awards are announced later in the afternoon, including the People’s Choice winner.

Adult Wing Eating Contest – 2:00 PM
Kids Wing Bobbing Competition – 2:50 PM
People’s Choice voting ends – 4:00 PM

Family Activities
WingFest is designed as a family-friendly event with activities across the park, including:

Pets are not allowed at the event.
WingFest Weekend Extras
WingFest weekend also includes additional events around Hilton Head.
A Friday pre-party is typically held at Lincoln & South Brewing Company with live music, yard games, and raffles.
An after-party on Saturday evening takes place at The Bank on Pope Avenue with live music following the festival.
