The Nutcracker Returns to the Stage at the Seahawk Cultural Center

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C., Oct. 30, 2025 — The holiday season on Hilton Head Island begins with grace and glitter as the beloved ballet classic, "The Nutcracker," returns to the stage at the Seahawk Cultural Center on two weekends: Nov. 14–16 and Nov. 21–23, 2025.

Presented by Hilton Head Dance Theatre, this year’s production features local and regional dancers, elaborate costumes, and the timeless score by Tchaikovsky. The Seahawk Cultural Center, located at Hilton Head Island High School, transforms into a winter wonderland as Clara, the Nutcracker Prince, and the Sugar Plum Fairy enchant audiences of all ages.

The 2025 cast includes returning principal dancers, talented youth performers, and new faces from the Lowcountry's thriving dance community. With snow falling onstage and toy soldiers marching across scenes from the Land of Sweets to the magical Kingdom of Snow, the ballet promises a visually stunning and heartwarming holiday tradition.

Performances will take place across two weekends, with both evening and matinee shows available. Tickets can be purchased online on the Hilton Head Dance website, or at the Seahawk Cultural Center box office. Early booking is recommended, as shows routinely sell out.

Proceeds support Hilton Head Dance Theatre's education and outreach initiatives, helping young dancers access high-quality training and performance opportunities.
